Responsibilities include:

1. Understand requirements and design test procedures and cases for automated testing.

When customers raise questions about testing or project operations, the test manager explains how the work is being managed. The manager answers their questions and ensures the project is completed on time and meets their requirements.

Good software depends on testing and development teams working well together. Understand and respect each other’s roles, listen carefully and remember your shared goal. Strong communication matters for both testers and developers.

Agree on basic guidelines and expectations before testing begins, so that confusion does not grow later. Treat criticism constructively. Interactions between Software Test Manager And Software Project Manager

A test manager recruits the team and takes responsibility for its training. The manager continually analyzes testing processes and checks that the team follows them correctly. This role also selects, introduces and implements testing tools, and finalizes templates for test documents, reports and other procedures.

Because the test manager oversees the details of testing, regular contact with the project manager is essential. Support project planning and scheduling so that the work finishes on time and within budget.
